Getting together in 2005, Doddy, Andika, Tama, Lim, Nory and Barry formed Kangen Band and soon found themselves to be a successful touring group. Without any film clips to push their music, it was pirate CD’s and VCD’s that spread the word and unlike for other bands, it ended up working in their favor. 2007 saw them launch their first album ‘Tentang Aku Kau Dan Dia’, following it up each year since with ‘Bintang 14 Hari’ in ’08 and ‘PujaanHati’ this year which included their smash hit ‘TerbangBersamaku’
IS NOW...
The boys are currently working on a movie project with director Lola Amara, which will be another major step on their road to making musical history in Indonesia.
