Pusering Jagat Temple is situated in Pejeng village, on the west side of the highway to Tampaksiring. It is usually said as the center of the word, since Pusering means center and Jagat means world. In this temple, there is preserved the Caturkaya statue and and ancient stone vessel called Sangku Sudama. The reliefs carved on the vessel shows the Gods searching for Amerta (the elixir of immortality). In the Gedung Purus on the temple grounds a huge phallus and Vagina made stone and sound, which have a sacred sense.
