On the western site of the Bukit (hill), Bali's southern Peninsula lies the once sleepy fishing village of Jimbaran, now the site of the Intercontinental, Four Seasons and the Ritz-Carlton. Take a walk along the pristine sand or dine at one of the beachside seafood restaurants. Perhaps a sunset drink - Jimbaran is known for its spectacular sunsets. An offshore reef offers protection from the wave action, providing excellent swimming water.
What is also nice there is that you sit with your feet in the sand, with the lights twinkling in the distance - so the ambiance is quite nice. You get guitarists coming to serenade you - and then of course you have to pay them - or can choose not to either. |
